Dear Colleagues and Friends,
\nWe are pleased to invite you to the XII International
\nPsychodrama Conference of Psychodrama
\nInstitute for Europe (PIfE),
\nwhich will be held in Kyiv \u2013 one of the most ancient
\nand beautiful cities of Eastern Europe.
\nThe need of belonging to a certain group is one of the crucial
\nneeds of the human being. Our belonging to a family, a team, an
\norganization or any other community, is changing continuously
\nover the lifetime and consequently the significance of these
\ncommunities for us is also changing. Each of us has to make
\nchoices and take decisions \u2013 either our own or somebody else\u2019s.
\nOften we are looking for the answers to the following questions:
\nWhere is my place in life?
\nWhat determines my ability to belong?
\nDo I belong to the groups of people of the same age, sex, same
\ncommunity?
\nDo I feel as a part of the community to which I belong?
\nHow about my belonging to the cultural, national, historic and
\nreligious traditions in which I grew up and which I am living?
\nThe answers to these questions enable us to comprehend and
\ndetermine our identity, in all its developments and transformations.
